As a 90's child who admittedly owned the entire Art Stuff glitter collection and felt like Drew Barrymore in Ever After when I cruised into school covered in roll-on sparkles, I am thrilled to know that I can totally get away with wearing glitter as an "adult". Especially when it is duochrome!!! These Chameleon Glow powders caught my eye in the beauty section at Topshop and once I read the labels and confirmed there were no icky animal-derived ingredients, I bought all three (pictured above and swatched below)!
These are $12 at Topshop stores and online, and are described as "Amazing dual pigmented, multi-use powder(s); can be used as an eyeshadow or a facial highlight. Use alone or over products to create a multi-dimensional effect. Apply with fingertips or brushes for an iridescent finish and intense colour."
"Wax + Wane"- Purple- Warm orchid purple with a cool blue shift- I am such a sucker for a good purple shadow, and this is no exception! I love wearing this all over the lid with a matte black or grey in the crease, paired with a fun lavender highlight like Coloured Raine's Chameleon shadow or Jeffree Star's Lavendar Snow Skin Frost.
"Shuffle the Cards"- Rose Gold- Pinkish copper color with bright canary gold shift- Pictured below, I have found myself reaching for this one the most. It is beautiful on its own and also adds a gorgeous pop of extra shimmer over a gold or copper metallic shadow.
"U-Turn"- Green- Neon yellow green with striking gold shift- This one is such an interesting and unique shade. The neon yellow green almost shifts to an orange red in certain light, and is absolutely stunning when offset by a bold red lip.

These are meant as a "multi-use" product as eyeshadow and highlighter, but for me personally they are a tad too glittery to wear as highlighter (I know my 10 year old self is shaking her head right now). However, as eyeshadow they are incredibly pigmented and buildable, and they catch the light so beautifully shifting from one shade to the next. They appear as if they would be grainy to the touch, but they are actually incredibly buttery and smooth. I like to apply them with my fingers, but they can be blended out with a brush for a more subtle effect or applied wet for an even more foiled and dramatic look. It's hard to believe, but they are even more striking in person!
